Hello friends,

My name is Esmeralda Chipmunk and I live in a little hut called the Mountain Bar in Queensland, Australia, with my Mummy. I was born when Mummy had a dream one night after she had been drinking red wine. A few months later when she was in a little shop in a forest I was found sitting there, waiting to be adopted. Just like Fate! So I came home with her and I now have ever such a nice life and I'm really really spoilt!

I have my own little house with lots of pretty furniture and a good supply of food. I go to work with Mummy every day, and have a basket on her desk that I sit in.

I share my house with my friend Rosie, she's a Red Squirrel and comes from a place called Aberdeen in Scotland, so she talks funny. Her boyfriend often stays over too, he is a Grey Squirrel called Cyril and he's English. I'm really lucky cos I've got the dual nation thingy, I'm British AND Australian.

I have a lot of other friends who spend time in our house with us, and then there are some bigger ones like Lindy the Dingo and Brian the Meerkat who just roam around Mummy's house and eat her food instead of mine. We've got a possum family that live in the garden as well, they get to eat all the leftovers, and lots of birds that drop by for a sing-song on the back porch.
